The Great British Bake Off's Georgie says 'Welsh are back in the game'
The Great British Bake Off has a Welsh contestant for the first time in five years. Georgie, one of the dozen contestants taking part in series fifteen of the classic Channel 4 show, said "the Welsh are back in the game" as she announced she would be making her debut in the iconic tent.
Georgie, a paediatric nurse from Carmarthenshire, says she got her love for baking from her Nonna Rosa. She is also a forager and has ten chickens, two ducks, two dogs and a cat at her home, which she shares with her husband and three children.
