Great-grandfather becomes oldest person to ride rollercoaster on his 105th birthday

Age is nothing but a number, and Jack Reynolds has unequivocally proved that by becoming the oldest person to ride a rollercoaster on his 105th birthday.

The great-grandfather, who previously became the oldest person to get a tattoo at the age of 104, rode the Twistosaurus at North Yorkshire’s Flamingo Land this morning.

His daring antics were broadcast live on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, before he was presented with an official Guinness World Record certificate.

Jack, who undertook the daring stunt to raise money for Ashgate Hospital in Chesterfield, said that the experience had proved ‘different’ to when he had rode rollercoasters in his youth.

The centenarian, who is a grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of 21, proved a huge hit with TV viewers too.

One viewer wrote: ‘Jack Reynolds is f**king awesome, if I make it to 105 I hope I’m still riding roller coasters. Absolute LEGEND.’
