Ahead of next week's final, The Greatest Dancer has confirmed which four acts are set to compete for the top prize of £50,000 and a chance to perform on fellow BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

Going into tonight's semi-final (Saturday February 29), judges Todrick Hall and Oti Mabuse each had one act, while Matthew Morrison and Cheryl had two.

Coincidentally though, each of the captains have ended up with one of their mentees in the final.

After wowing the general public with a energetic routine set to Elton John's 'Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting,' Matthew's Harrison bagged a place in the final, as did Todrick's group Dancepoint - who impressed the crowd with their classic Hollywood-inspired boogie.

Cheryl's pick Lily and Joseph also got through, having performed a dance all about their childhood dreams of becoming a princess and pirate respectively.

And lastly, Oti's duo Michael and Jowita was voted into the final after nailing a Dirty Dancing-esque number set to Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' '(I've Had) The Time of My Life'.

Unfortunately for Hannah, who was being mentored by Matthew and performed a love letter to the ocean with her routine, and Brothers of Dance - Cheryl's second group, who found inspiration from the military in theirs - found themselves being sent home.

So, which of the four will you be backing at the 2020 series draws to a close?

The Greatest Dancer returns next Saturday (March 7) at 6.30pm on BBC One.
