The Greatest Dancer has crowned its inaugural winner, with Ellie Fergusson walking away with the crown.

She fought off tough competition to be named the Greatest Dancer in tonight's (February 23) finale, making Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse the winning dance captain.

Speaking after the news was announced by Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo, Ellie said: "I'm speechless. Its been the most amazing experience of my life."

Oti said of Ellie's win: "Its been all her, it has nothing to do with me. She came out every single week and did her best. Ellie you are so deserving!"

Thanks to her big win on the BBC show, Ellie has taken home £50,000 and will also perform on Strictly Come Dancing. Not bad as prizes go!

Groups KLA and Harry & Eleiyah were the runners up, with fourth finalist James & Oliver eliminated earlier in the evening.

That left the latter's mentor Matthew Morrison with no acts left by the end of the evening.
