Green Tree Snake Slithers Up Tree After Froggy Lunch

A local resident walking through a park in Bribie Island, Queensland, recently witnessed a green tree snake slither swiftly up a tree trunk after consuming a frog.

In footage filmed by Natalie Anne Murray, the snake shows no signs of suffering from overindulgence as it briskly returns to the top of the tree after its snack.

Speaking to Storyful, Murray said, “After devouring the frog in a matter of 10-20 seconds the snake made its way back to the tree and climbed almost vertically up the trunk. It was fascinating to watch.” Credit: Natalie Anne Murray via Storyful
