Greenock man rushed to hospital following serious assault as probe launched
A man has been rushed to hospital after being 'seriously assaulted' in Greenock.
Emergency services were called to the East Shaw Street area of the town at around 8.30pm on Friday, November 22, following reports of an incident.
Officers say that a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

Detectives probing the alleged attack are now asking anyone who can assist their investigation into the incident to come forward.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
