Greg Davies' returning BBC series confirms release date
Greg Davies' returning BBC series The Cleaner has confirmed its release date.
According to The Radio Times, the crime comedy will kick off its third season on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer on Friday, October 4, at 9:30 pm.
Davies has created and stars in the show about crime scene cleaner Paul 'Wicky' Wickstead encountering some of "the strangest of people" in his line of work.
Along with a release date, the BBC has also released a synopsis for The Cleaner season three: "[Wicky meets] the victims' relatives, employers, neighbours and acquaintances to occasionally even the murderers themselves.
"And because he's a sociable type, he sometimes gossips more than he cleans…"

In these season three episodes, Wicky travels to Northern Ireland to clean up a lighthouse where a gruesome crime took place and reconnects with an old friend.
The Cleaner's crime-of-the-week format allows for an always-impressive rotating group of guest stars and the third season will be no different.
Steve Pemberton (Inside No 9), Sharon Rooney (Barbie), Ben Willbond (Ghosts), Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), Chaneil Kular (Sex Education), Derek Griffiths (Unforgotten), Gemma Whelan (Killing Eve) and Paula Wilcox (Coronation Street) are only a handful of the guests this time around.

"I am so delighted to be back wading around in blood. We have made sure that Wicky has some bizarre characters to deal with this series," Greg recently said of the returning show.
"Looking forward to sweating in a crime suit and wearing the earring that my nieces find so cringe."
Fans of the comedian can also currently see him on the new season of Channel 4's Taskmaster, where he joins Little Alex Horne in putting contestants Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee and Rosie Jones through their paces.
The Cleaner's first two seasons are available to watch now on the BBC iPlayer, with the third season premiering on Friday, October 4 at 9:30pm.
