Back in 2020, Greggs followed in Nando’s footsteps by launching a black card.

The Greggs ‘Concierge’ card works in pretty much the same way as the Nando’s one aka it gives the owner free food whenever the desire for a steak bake or sausage roll comes over him or her.

The first recipient was Brit-award-winning rapper Stormzy. He shared the black card’s arrival on his Instagram Stories. Oh, and as well as the card, he was also gifted some Greggs slippers like the true VIP that he is.

Then Ed Sheeran was lucky enough to get his little guitar-playing hands on one. But get this... the Shivers singer has been kind enough to gift his to Ladbaby, with whom he and Elton John teamed up with on the hit song, Sausage Rolls, to raise funds for the Trussell Trust.

Ladybaby, aka Mark Hoyle and wife Roxanne made history recently by landing their fourth Christmas number one, which they got with their catchy song about Greggs' iconic sausage roll.

So, we guess you want to know if you can get hold of one of these magical cards that gets you free Greggs snacks whenever you want them? Well, sadly it's not looking good for mere mortals like us.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “Our Concierge card is strictly by invite only to some of our biggest fans. That’s all we can say.”

So, yeah, the bad news is you have to be pretty special to get invited to join the Greggs Concierge club.

The spokesperson added to The Mirror: “Money can't buy the Greggs Concierge card, it was launched to reward super-fans. Additional cards will be issued on a case-by-case basis.”

So you might want to start writing a Brit-award-winning album or professing your undying love for Greggs online all day, every day.
