Yahoo News Grey's Anatomy confirms 2025 return date
Grey's Anatomy has confirmed its midseason return date in 2025.
ABC has announced a number of its airdates for next year, with the long-running medical drama returning for the second half of season 21 on Thursday, March 6 at 10pm.
9-1-1 will also be back that evening for its season 8 midseason premiere at 8pm. Other notable returns include The Rookie on January 7 at 10pm and Abbott Elementary on January 8 at 8.30pm.

Grey's is currently in the middle of season 21's first half, which moved to the 10pm slot in a first for the series.
Back in September, show boss Meg Marinis teased more "steamy scenes" on the show now they've been given a later timeslot.
"This is our first year at 10 pm," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I mean, I'll push whatever boundaries they'll let me push. But I'll say, the show will still be the show.
"If we can get a few more risqué subject matters or steamy scenes, we'll do it. But I won't do it just for the sake of a time slot. We're Grey's Anatomy, people will find us wherever we are."

She also addressed star Ellen Pompeo appearing in more episodes as Meredith Grey, teasing: "I don't think we have a confirmed number right now, and we don't typically do it all in one run.
"But I will say, her story does continue at the beginning of this season. With Ellen, we're an open-door policy. When we can have Ellen on set and in the episodes, we love to have her.
"She's always present in the show, even if she's not in it in it. She has voiceover still, and we talk about her character all the time. She and I have a great relationship and work really well with one another."
Meanwhile, Grey's recently cast One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush as trauma surgeon Dr Cass Beckman.
Grey's Anatomy season 21 airs on Thursdays at 10pm ET on ABC in the US. Previous seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
