Grimsby court list - Ten offenders named and shamed
A man who carried a kitchen knife in public, a stalker who sent numerous messages and attended the victim's address and a shop thief who stole nearly £600 worth of items have been sentenced by magistrates in Grimsby.
While some cases were adjourned to a later date and others sent to Grimsby Crown Court, many offenders from across northern Lincolnshire were still handed jail terms, suspended sentence orders and hefty fines.
Here are ten people who were sentenced last week at Grimsby Magistrates' Court.

Daniel Stone, 35, of Dryden Road, Scunthorpe indicated a plea of guilty to the possession of a bladed article in a public place, namely a kitchen knife. He was given a one-year suspended sentence order.
Simon Parker, 37, of Torrington Road, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to stalking in which he sent a large quantity of unwanted messages of verbal abuse and attended the victim's address. He was given a community order with the requirement to complete 15 days of unpaid work and a two-year restraining order and ordered to pay a £114 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs.
Alex Rymer, 22, of Dame Kendal Grove, Grimsby indicated pleas of guilty to three counts of theft from a shop in which he stole food worth £230 from Heron, alcohol worth £200 from Booze Corner and sweets worth £150 from Heron. He was jailed for six weeks.
Andrew Wilson, 43, of Bonby Grove, Scunthorpe was found guilty of going equipped for theft in which he had with him a torch, screwdriver, balaclava and gloves in connection with theft from a dwelling. He was jailed for 19 weeks, ordered to undergo drug rehabilitation and to complete 100 hours of unpaid work.
Kaj Edwards, 27, of Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes pleaded guilty to criminal damage in which he damaged a window worth more than £3,500 belonging to Buzz Bingo in Grimsby. He was ordered to pay £2,000 in compensation.
Michael O'Hare, 33, of Weelsby Street, Grimsby pleaded guilty to assault by beating and common assault. He was given a one-year suspended sentence order and ordered to undergo alcohol treatment and pay £200 in compensation.
Mariwan Salihi, 34, of Ville Road, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to the possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, namely a knuckle duster. He was ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 in costs and a £48 victim services surcharge.
Shaun Kirk, 36, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine. He was banned from driving for one year and ordered to pay a £120 fine and a £48 victim services surcharge.
Simon Gibson, 50, of St Albans Close, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to driving whilst above the legal alcohol limit and indicated a plea of guilty to the possession of cannabis. He was banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay a fine of £576, a £207 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs.
Aiden Gornall, 36, of Station Road, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop in which he stole £67 worth of alcohol. He was given a one-year suspended sentence order and ordered to pay £64 in compensation.
