A Grimsby McDonald's restaurant that has been closed for four days is set to reopen soon.

The town centre outlet, in Victoria Street, has been shut since midweek due to a water leak that led to further technical problems which needed resolving. However, it is hoped it will be able to welcome back customers soon, possibly later on Saturday.

Franchisee, Ayolt Kloosterboer told Grimsby Live: “We had a water leak. It has got into the computers. It was a fault with a coffee machine and it has put all the computers out of action. We have been waiting for engineers.

"But like a lot of these things it takes time. This is our fourth day that we have been closed and we're hoping it is the last day closed and once it is resolved we could be open later on today."
