Groom Loves KFC So Much He Posed For His Wedding Photo Outside Restaurant

Wedding photographs are usually set to some stunningly beautiful backdrops - like an elegant castle, a historic landmark or, er, KFC.

One groom is such a fan of the restaurant that he managed to convince his new bride to pose in her wedding dress right outside the fast food joint.

Louis Davis eats out at Kentucky Fried Chicken three times a week and wanted to reflect this feat on his special day.

With the bridal party on hand Louis, 21, gave his wife Ashleigh a big kiss in front of the instantly recognisable sign.

After the picture went viral, Louis explained exactly why he wanted the slightly non-traditional venue for the backdrop.

He told the New Zealand Herald: “I’ve always had a special relationship with KFC so it made sense.

“I knew we were going to take the classic, cheesy photos.

“She had the team of photographers, team of videographers to get the classic shots.

“But I knew the photos that are the ones you look back on are where you’re doing something different.”

The new Mrs Davis was a “good sport” about the photo - although she put her foot down when Louis originally wanted everyone to be naked.

KFC buckets would’ve been very handy if he had pulled that one off…
