FROM glam rock to disco, new wave to two-tone — turn back time and enjoy a groove along to the sounds of the 70s.

Jack Up Events are preparing to wind the clock back once more with the return of Jack Up The 70s.

The event, at Lower Hyde in Shanklin, is aimed at giving people something to look forward to for 2022.

Taking place on Saturday, February 19, it's a chance to dig out your flares and prepare to boogie all night long to the very best of T. Rex, Chic, Sister Sledge, Mud, Earth Wind and Fire, ABBA, Boney M, Kool and The Gang, The Sweet and other 70s chart toppers.

Award-winning five-piece band The Zoots will be performing two energetic full hour sets of non-stop party classics as part of their smash-hit live show, covering over 50 songs from the 1970s.

The show will include a selection of iconic movie soundtracks from the decade.

The band have played more than 1,000 UK dates and performed at iconic venues like Old Trafford and the London Palladium.

If you like Grease, Saturday Night Fever and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, this is the event for you.

If you are just looking for a feel-good party night to remember, it will tick that box too.

A series of DJ sets featuring 70s party classics will continue through until 1am.
