Group disturbance near Rutherglen Wetherspoon pub leaves one man in hospital
A man has been rushed to hospital following a disturbance 'involving a group' near a Wetherspoon pub in Rutherglen.
Police were called to the Main Street area of the South Lanarkshire town at around 5.35pm on Friday, September 6, following reports of an incident involving a number of people.
An eyewitness reported that the incident unfolded near to An Ruadh-Ghleann.

The nature of what happened remains unclear, however, a 54-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A 44-year-old man was treated at the scene.
Police Scotland have now launched a probe to establish what happened.
A spokesperson said: "An investigation is under way following a report of a disturbance in Rutherglen. Around 5.35pm, police were called to Main Street, Rutherglen where a group of people were involved in a disturbance.
