Group of Migrants Found Inside Van on Romanian-Hungarian Border

Romanian border police said they found 11 migrants inside a van on the Romanian-Hungarian border on Monday, November 4. The driver of the vehicle was being investigated for migrant trafficking, they said.

The discovery was made when a Peugeot van was stopped at the Nadlac Border Crossing Point, on Romania’s border with Hungary.

The 11 people found on board, four men, a woman and six minors, were said to be from Iraq, Eritrea and Iran. They ranged in ages from 15 to 44 years old, border police said.
