Group of West Virginians Try to Persuade Senator to Vote Against New Healthcare Bill

A group of West Virginians concerned by the new healthcare bill traveled to Washington DC on June 20 to meet with Senator Shelley Capito and ask her to vote against it.

Janice Hill, a local reverend, explained to Capito that without the Affordable Healthcare Act her daughter would have probably died from cancer.

An article from a local paper in West Virginia says West Virginians are most concerned about the anticipated roll back to the Medicaid expansion and other cuts.
