Group of youths 'pick up man in his 90s and drop him on the floor' at Clay Cross bus stop

Derbyshire police are appealing for help after a 92 year-old-man was assaulted by a group of teens at a bus station in Clay Cross. The incident happened between 11am and 12pm on August 31 when the pensioner was sat alone on a bench.

The man was then approached by a group of four youths who proceeded to grab him and lift him over the bench, then dropping the old man on the floor. The man, who is in his nineties, suffered injuries to his chest as a result of the attack.

Police have now launched an appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or anyone who witnessed it to come forward with any information.
