Disney firing Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn recently doesn't mean that he's gone from the whole film industry. In fact, he's got a horror film scheduled for release this autumn.

But because of the whole Disney firing, we know next to nothing about the film. No title, no trailers, nothing. The film was reportedly meant to be shown off at Sony's San Diego Comic-Con but it was pulled due to the controversy surrounding Gunn.

Despite the lack of promotion, a representative for the movie studio has confirmed to Screen Rant that the film is still on track for a November 30 release.

And... that's about all they've confirmed. We don't even know if Gunn is directing it, but that seems unlikely, otherwise there would have been more buzz about it. The rumours are that Gunn's friend David Yarovesky is directing the project.

Yarovesky previously wrote the limited release science fiction film The Hive, which starred Skins' Kathryn Prescott and Sean Gunn.

Apparently Elizabeth Banks is starring in the film, and it *might* be based off either the manga series Berserk, PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne or Grant Morrison's graphic novel Nameless. Take all this with a pinch of salt, because it would have been mighty impressive if these things managed to fly under the radar.

It has been reported that Disney Chairman Alan Horn has ruled out re-hiring Gunn, which has really pissed Dave Bautista off.
