Be afraid, baby Groot: it looks like you may have some competition in the cute stakes.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hit UK cinemas last weekend, and it's inevitably led to a number of Guardian wannabes vying to join the super-human squad.

One such wannabe is Crazy Kid, who met up with all the Guardians as well as director James Gunn to discuss a possible job opportunity coming up within the division.

Yes, she's pretty cute, but can she outcute Groot?

Take a look and decide for yourself.

Produced by Marvel, the video sees self-titled 'Cute Kid by Day, Crazy Kid by Night' audition for her chance to join the ever-expanding Guardians team.

We mean, if Yondu and Nebula can get in this year...

Crazy Kid's super powers include imposing midnight snacking, bringing all the sweets, acquiring broccoli for Gamora, and catching asteroids with her bare hands before throwing them back into space.

As well as being crazy, sneaky and quick, she can also transfigure into a variety of animals including a pigeon, a squirrel and an owl.

But does she make the cut?

"Definitely, definitely in," said Dave Bautista.

"You have my full support," said Kurt Russell. "I think you'd make a pretty good Guardian, so I think that sounds perfect."

"Welcome to the Guardians of the Galaxy," added Chris Pratt.

Uh-oh. Nobody tell Groot.
