Gugu Mbatha-Raw Signs On For Ava DuVernay’s ‘Wrinkle In Time’
The cast for Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time keeps expanding, with Gugu Mbatha-Raw signing on to play Dr. Kate Murray, microbiologist and mother to main character Meg Murray. Directed by Ava DuVernay from a script by Frozen co-writer Jennifer Lee, Storm Reid has been cast as Meg, with Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling also aboard.

Based on the novel by Madeleine L’Engle first published in 1962, the film does not yet have a release date.
