Guildford Morrisons window smashed during break-in as Surrey Police hunt suspect who escaped on bike

Police are hunting a burglar who smashed the window of Morrisons Daily in Guildford before making off with cash and cigarettes. Officers were called to the branch in Stoughton Road at 4.45am on Saturday, November 2 after reports of a break-in.

The suspect is believed to have then left the scene of the burglary by bicycle, down Hornbeam Road, into the Bellfields estate. CCTV footage captured the man as he left the store, in this footage he was walking with a limp.

Surrey Police has released a description of the suspect, he is described as white and was dressed in all-black clothing. Police believe he is aged between 18 years old and 30 years old, around 5ft 10" and of skinny build.
