A hairless guinea pig, or “skinny pig,” got its head stuck in a toilet paper tube its owner put food in on October 14.
Kayleigh Scott recorded this video at home in Perth, Scotland, and told Storyful this has not happened to her six-month-old pet, Trixie, before.
“It’s common to give guineas food in toilet roll tubes to forage a bit,” she said. “But I won’t be doing this again.”
The video shows a very pink skinny pig bumping into things around the enclosure with the paper tube stuck on her head. Scott can be heard saying, “I’m coming, baby, don’t worry…oh no, it’s proper stuck.”
Scott was able to get the tube off the animal’s head, and the critter scurries to the back of the cage. Scott can be heard apologizing to the rodent, saying, “I’m sorry that happened to you.” Credit: Kayleigh Scott via Storyful
