Guitarist Plays 'God Save the Queen' Out Window as Neighbors Clap for Health Care Workers

One Londoner took things a step further when the UK came together to support the health care workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic and instead of clapping, performed a rendition of ‘God Save The Queen’ on an electric guitar.

Writing on Twitter, journalist Georgia Arlott, who recorded the footage, wrote: “My neighbour played God Save The Queen on his electric guitar at top volume – awesome!”

Across the UK on Thursday, March 26, people stood outside their homes and clapped for National Health Service workers.

Hashtags such as #clapforNHS, #clapforourcarers, and #ThankYouNHS were heavily promoted by the government and the Royal Family throughout the day.
