Gunpoint robbery in city centre as police issue images of men it wants to speak to

A man was robbed of cash at gunpoint in the city centre. Police has issued pictures of two men it wants to speak to.

The incident happened on Bishopsgate Street in broad daylight. The victim was threatened with a gun and a sum of cash was stolen, police said.

No arrests have yet been made. Police inquiries are continuing.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Birmingham Police posted: "#APPEAL | Do you recognise these two men? We want to speak to them after an armed robbery on Bishopsgate Street in Birmingham on 18 March around 1.50pm. The victim was threatened with a gun & a sum of cash was stolen.
