Gwyneth Paltrow under fire for 'over-priced' Goop wellness summit
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop wellness summit has left some guests feeling stressed out - after paying £4,500 for a ticket.
The 46-year-old actress brought her annual In Goop Health event to the UK for the first time, choosing to hold it in West London over the same weekend as Glastonbury Festival, where ex Chris Martin appeared.
Tickets for the event ranged from £1,000 for a day pass for main Saturday event, and from £2,500 to £4,500 for a weekend pass.

But some attendees complained the seminars and workout sessions were lost among the relentless advertising and Paltrow herself made very few appearances.
Paltrow hosted one seminar offering beauty and mindfulness tips, performed a workout demonstration with her trainer Tracy Anderson and conducted an on-stage chat with model Twiggy and fellow actress Penelope Cruz.
As source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “Gwyneth acts like she's a health goddess, but actually she's a pretentious, greedy extortionist.
“She had a ton of security... She was unapproachable. She did the minimum — a few fireside chats with Twiggy and Penelope Cruz, then she put on her Birkenstocks and snuck out... I was a huge fan of Gwyneth; now I feel like I have lost my faith in God.”

Attendees who booked their rooms at the Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel through the Goop website paid £1,030 for two nights only to discover the rooms were available for £198 elsewhere.
A representative for Paltrow said: “In addition to walking around the summit, she also hosted an intimate workout class with Tracy, followed by a panel, where she and Tracy answered attendee questions in an honest, casual setting.
'We have not received negative feedback. [It] was more along the lines of, ‘Thanks for an amazing weekend!’”
Previous Goop summits in 2017 and 2018 were held in Los Angeles.
