Hail Sunshower Comes Down on Santa Cruz

Hail fell on Santa Cruz, California, on March 26 as thunderstorms moved across the area.

The National Weather Service issued a “Special Marine Warning” for the nearby Monterey Bay, advising that the storm system in the area had “the potential of producing erratic wind gusts greater than 34 knots, small hail, and possible waterspouts.”
