Hailey Baldwin breaks silence amid reports of 'trust issues' in marriage to Justin Bieber

Hailey Baldwin appeared to hit out at reports that she and husband Justin Bieber are experiencing ‘trust issues’ in a new Instagram Story post.

The model, who tied the knot with Bieber last year, seemed to allude to recent speculation about her marriage as she shared a post which read: “Don’t believe what ya read on the internet folks.”

The 22-year-old added a laughing crying emoji and an eye roll emoji for good measure, along with a gif that read: ‘Fake news.”

Her brief statement comes shortly after US Weekly reportedly suggested that Bieber is “concerned about his relationship with Hailey” and “still having trust issues and a hard time.”

“He still wants and needs her to be his wife and she wants to support him, but it’s hard when he’s going through all of this,” a source reportedly told the publication.

Earlier this month, the musician asked fans to “pray for him” as he revealed that he had been “struggling a lot” and feeling “super disconnected and weird.”

“Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird… I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask you guys to pray for me.

“God is faithful and ur [sic] prayers really work thanks… the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.”

In February, it was reported that the couple, who were legally married in a courthouse ceremony in September, had chosen to push back the religious ceremony they had planned to allow Bieber to focus on his “mental wellbeing.”

“Right now, Justin’s focus is getting well mentally,” a source told PEOPLE.

“He is very focused and committed to getting help. Hailey is very supportive – Justin is very open about that, Hailey does nothing but help him.”
