Hailey Baldwin was initially reluctant to kiss Justin Bieber in public
Hailey Baldwin had reservations about making public displays of affection with now-husband Justin Bieber early on in their relationship.
The model had difficulty in putting that part of their romance on show but did end up coming to terms with it, she’s revealed in a new interview with Vogue Italia.
"It was difficult for me to understand how to carry on a relationship like this, experienced under the eyes of all. But there comes a time when you have to embrace reality, and admit who you are," she said according to ET Online’s translation of the article.

"For a long time I couldn't do it: I didn't kiss him in public, I didn't like the idea of people watching us at certain moments.
"But I realised that it is a battle that in the long run, instead of protecting you, exhausts you. The fact is, we love each other. And there is really nothing to hide," the 23-year-old went on.
The couple wed in 2018 and had an official ceremony on 30 September the following year.
They recently celebrated the first anniversary of that ceremony as they shared gushing posts to Instagram.
Bieber, 26, said he was "lucky" to be Baldwin's husband as he wrote: "You teach me so much everyday and make me such a better man! I am committed for the rest of our lives to empower you to be the woman God has called you to be! My heart is to enable you to achieve all of your wildest dreams!
