Hailey Bieber is getting candid about her mental health.

In a new video posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday, the 25-year-old discussed how she nurtures her mental and emotional well-being.

"There are several things I like to do to check in with myself," Bieber said in the video, which was posted for Mental Health Awareness Month. "One of those things being talk to somebody you trust."

The model revealed to fans that she has been seeing a therapist for the past four years.

"It’s something that I felt not sure of in the beginning," she shared. "But the more I’ve grown my relationship with my therapist, it has been such a game changer for me and it’s a space where I feel really safe to be able to talk about what’s going on in my mind, say things out loud and feel safe and not feel judged."

During her sit-down, Bieber explained that breathing exercises have helped her "in times of just feeling a lot of anxiety." She also said she loves to take baths and spend time in nature.

Later in the video, Bieber, who has 44.7 million Instagram followers, shared that her relationship with social media has been "taxing" on her mental health.

"I’m somebody who struggles with people-pleasing and really wanting everybody to like me and caring a lot about what people have to say and what they think," she said.

Despite the "negativity" that can come with social media, Bieber acknowledged there are positive aspects to the digital world.

"I think it’s a really wonderful and beautiful tool to be able to connect with people," she said. "There’s a lot about it that I also do love and I’m just in a space where I’m trying to have the healthiest relationship with social media that I possibly can."

Fans quickly praised Bieber's transparency and vulnerability surrounding such an important topic.

"This young lady is a treasure. Her generosity and concern for others sets her apart from her peers," commented a fan on YouTube.

"She is one of the few celebrities of this generation that is transparent and uses her platform for spreading awareness and helping others. Keep doing what you’re doing," said another.

"Thank you so much for bringing awareness and sharing your story! Self-care is not selfish. You must fill your own cup before you can pour into others," added another fan.
