Stormy weather lashed parts of southern Utah as “monsoonal moisture” affected parts of the state on Sunday, August 11, according to local reports.

This video was captured by Robin Berger, who said it was filmed in Saint George, in the southwest corner of the state.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for parts of the Saint George metro area on Sunday, warning of “minor flooding” caused by “excessive rainfall.” Credit: Robin Berger MD via Storyful

UK weather: Thundery showers to hit as yellow warning for rain issued
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for large parts of the UK this weekend, threatening flooding and disruption. The Met Office warning is in place from 9pm Saturday evening until 6pm Sunday, and covers almost the entire lower part of England and Wales, reaching as far up as Sheffield and stretching across from Immingham in Lincolnshire down to Tenby in Pembrokeshire.
