Hailstorm Pelts Silverdale Amid Tornado Warning

A hailstorm pelted vehicles near Silverdale, Washington, amid a tornado warning that was issued for the Kitsap County area on November 9.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said pea-sized hail was possible in the Silverdale area as part of a tornado warning issued around midday.

Severe weather including heavy rainfall and mountain snow was expected to hit the Pacific Northwest region from Wednesday as an atmospheric river brought excess moisture, according to the NWS.
