Half-price nuggets and cash prizes! How to get the best deals from McDonald's as Monopoly returns
The summer sunshine appears to be over for now, but McDonald’s is doing all it can to cheer up these rainy, dreary days.
The fast-food giant is hosting a whole load of deals this September – and is giving all customers a chance to win a £20,000 instant cash prize every Monday.
Golden Arches bosses have brought back the much-loved Monopoly game, which gives foodies the chance to win a host of prizes, as well as free food and money-off vouchers.
But for 2024 they have added a new element to cheer up the start of the week, with ‘Mayfair Mondays’ where, each Monday through the competition, a £20k instant cash prize is guaranteed to be won via the app.
Not only that, but they will also be offering their usual McDonald’s Monday deals – and this week, you get the chance to grab money off two of the favourites on the menu.
Starting yesterday (Monday) for a week, customers will be able to get a one-time offer of £1.19 single McMuffin from the breakfast menu and 50 per cent off Chicken McNuggets from 11am, for just £1.39.
All of these deals are available through the McDonald’s app.
Customers are able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
McDonald’s is also giving something back.
A spokesman said: “There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, alongside reducing food poverty and waste in the UK.
“It couldn’t be easier – for a chance to win you simply peel on pack, then peel again in the McDonald’s app on a Monday – any time of the day. Don’t just peel good, peel great, with Mayfair Monday!”
All deals are exclusively available on the McDonald’s app and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store, signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
