In Halle Berry's case, it's get starkers and jump into a pool, and the star ensured that her late-night skinny dip was shared online for all to see.
In the clip, we see Halle walk down a pathway to the edge of a pool, before her dress falls on the floor and she jumps in. Oh, and it's all appropriately soundtracked by Bruno Mars's 'Versace on the Floor' *ahem* plug *ahem*.
But she still looks as iconic as ever, and we suppose you've got to make the most of the evening.
After all, it's 15 (yes 15!) years since she won her Best Actress Academy Award for Monster's Ball and gave us one of the greatest moments in Oscars history.
Nicole Kidman definitely clapped normally back then, by the way.
We undoubtedly got a moment that will go down in Oscars history last night too, after La La Land was mistakenly named Best Picture instead of actual winner Moonlight.
