Hallou, it’s mi...

Cheese fans, rejoice. The pop-up of your halloumi-filled dreams is coming to London this November.

The good people at the Cyprus Tourism organisation are setting up Say Hallou-mi to Cyprus! at 100 Hoxton for a week in order to show off their national cheese.

The menu will be created especially for the event by chef Francis Puyat, and it's pretty cheesy. Dishes will include a chargrilled halloumi flatbread, crumbled halloumi fingers (chilli jam included), halloumi cauliflower fritters and a courgette and halloumi salad.

In addition to all the food, punters will be able to indulge in traditional Cypriot cocktails, including harissa Bloody Marys and coriander and ginger martinis.

And if you’re feeling brave, you might want to try the halloumi ice cream for dessert. They say it’s ‘delicious’.

Say Halloum-mi to Cyprus! will be at 100 Hoxton, 100-102 Hoxton Street, N1 6SG from 13 - 19 November, 2017. Bookings can be made here.
