Halsey is a Marilyn Monroe doppelgänger with sexy hot new look

Halsey sent off smokin’ hot signals when she graced the 2017 Grammys red carpet with an open silky blouse exposing a little boob-age and a snazzy cropped haircut. To kick off 2018, she’s still giving off lots of sexy vibes — but now she is channeling one of America’s all-time favorite blonde bombshells: Marilyn Monroe.

The 23-year-old “Bad at Love” singer shared a dazzling video on Instagram of herself wearing a black side-slit sequined dress, scarlet red lipstick, and a tightly curled blond pixie hair look. She captioned the photo, “on my marilyn” — confirming that she was inspired by the late Monroe’s signature glam. Fans were just as mesmerized and caught up in the moment as Halsey seemed to be as she playfully posed for the camera. In as little as 24 hours the short clip has already received over 3 million views.

Not long after, Halsey shared another fun photo of her cuddled up next to her boyfriend, rapper G-Eazy, and while the photo equals “cute couple alert,” people were still in a trance focused on Halsey’s Marilyn-influenced beauty moment. They left comments such as “Looking Like Marilyn Slay,” “Omfg she looks like a modern Marilyn Monroe,” and “Marilyn is that you?” From the looks of the photo, there’s no doubt that Halsey could pass for a present-day lookalike of the late American singer, model, and actress.

Are we sold that Halsey will stick with this look? Not totally. She’s switched things up a ton in the past and has worn everything from long blue hair to close-cut brunette strands. Just a few weeks ago, she shared an image of herself wearing braided cornrows swept to the side — a supercool look created by celebrity hairstylist Lacy Redway.

We can’t predict what look Halsey will try next, but lots of people seem to be mad (in a good way) about her newfound Monroe style for sure. Just like G-Eazy, looks like this look should be a keeper.
