If you can’t get a ticket for Hamilton, you could always take a new approach and be in the show itself.

The London production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s acclaimed musical has just announced open auditions for the production, giving hopefuls a chance to be in the room where it happens.

The West End show is searching for male and female performers from all ethnic backgrounds, between the ages of 20 and 30.

The call-out specifically requests singers who can rap and hip-hop dancers.

Registration is now open, with hopefuls asked to send a current photo and CV to register their interest in auditioning for the show.

Auditions are to be held over the next few months, with recalls taking place in the spring and summer. Auditionees have to be available to appear in the show for one year from October 8th.

Those not wanting to throw away their shot are advised to get in touch with hamiltoncasting@camack.co.uk. More details can be found on the official Hamilton West End Facebook page.
