Hampton by Hilton statement on new Nuneaton hotel as sign goes up

Hampton by Hilton has given an update on its new hotel in Nuneaton as official signage has now emerged. The towering seven storey building on what was the old Co-op car park now boasts the official Hampton by Hilton brand sign.

Passers-by will have noticed many changes to the building with much of the scaffolding removed. Glass has also been installed on the main windows.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council previously said that the works to construct the building should be finished by June, with the building then due to be handed over to the operator to be 'fit out' ahead of it opening.

In an application for staff to work at the hotel, that it should be open by September.

CoventryLive asked both the borough council and also Hampton by Hilton to see if the construction was running to schedule and would it be handed over by June.

The borough council did not comment and a Hampton by Hilton spokesperson said: "We’re really looking forward to welcoming guests to the hotel and expect to be open later in the summer."

Once open, the hotel will boast 145 rooms, including family rooms. It will have a full glass fronted entrance with a reception area that opens out towards lifts, stairs and also a 'hub bar'.
