Hannah Tointon and Joe Thomas fool around for the cameras at premiere of new film The Festival
Hannah Tointon made sure her fiancé Joe Thomas was camera ready as they posed for photographers at the premiere of their latest film, The Festival.
Tointon plays Thomas’s ex-girlfriend Caitlin in The Festival, which was penned by writers of The Inbetweeners, the cult comedy in which the couple first met.
The 30-year-old actress smoothed back Thomas’ hair as they worked the cameras arm-in-arm on the green carpet in London’s Leicester Square.
The couple, who are currently planning their wedding, put on a loved up display as they joked amongst themselves.
Tointon looked stunning in an embellished pink floor length gown while Thomas opted for a casual look in a two piece suit with a white t-shirt and trainers.
They were joined by their co-stars Hammed Animashaun, who plays Thomas’ friend Shane Stubbs, and Emma Rigby, who plays ‘Smurf Girl’.
Director Iain Morris was also in attendance and made sure to stick to the film’s theme by teaming his blue suit with a pair of Hunter wellington boots.
Thomas' former Inbetweeners cast mate Blake Harrison also made an appearance.
The film follows recent graduates Caitlin and Nick as they turn up at the same festival days after she dumps him.
Thomas recently opened up about working with Tointon during an appearance on Lorraine.
Speaking to stand-in host Christine Lampard he said: “I've got to the stage like she's in everything, it went very well I think!”
He also revealed he won't be letting his parents watch the film as he has to partake in several sex scenes.
“I can’t watch this film with them,” he told The Sun.
“I usually finish a project with a sense of pride and that’s the feeling I have when I talk to other people, but then there’s this feeling, ‘I’m having sex in a car’, and I just don’t think they want to see that.”
The Festival is slated for UK cinema release on August 14
