Olly Murs and his famous friends are set to take over an Essex pub for festive TV special Happy Hour With Olly Murs.

The singer, who will be singing, dancing and spreading festive cheer in the hour-long ITV extravaganza, has described the show as “Saturday Night Takeaway meets TFI Friday… carnage but in a good way.”

The singer hosted a musical special, A Night In With Olly Murs, for ITV in 2014, but believes that Happy Hour “sums up my personality more than the previous special I did.”

“I wanted to celebrate almost 10 years in the industry by having some fun and I’ve got a few famous friends joining in,” he told What’s On TV. Will Megan McKenna, Kem Cetinay, Chris Hughes and Rochelle Humes will all be taking part in Murs’ Christmas get together.

Here’s what you can expect:

Bradley Walsh turns pub landlord

Murs has recruited his “showbiz dad” Bradley Walsh to act as pub landlord for the night. The Chase host will also join the singer on stage for a very special duet.

Noel Edmonds brings back Deal or No Deal

Former Deal or No Deal contestant Murs famously crashed out of the game show with just £10, but I’m A Celebrity star Noel Edmonds will give him one final chance to take a gamble on the famous red boxes (Murs also managed to raise 50p for charity in a Deal or No Deal celebrity special). Will it be a case of third time lucky for the singer, who Edmonds has described as “the worst player that we ever had”?

Murs will perform his hits

The singer will take to the stage with Lady Leshurr to perform his latest single, Moves, and will also treat fans to a selection of hits from his extensive back catalogue. A duet with Walsh is on the cards, too.

Sir Tom Jones plays darts

Here’s a little known fact: Sir Tom Jones is a huge darts aficionado. He’ll be going head to head with his The Voice colleague Murs, who has revealed that the loser must eat a selection of regional delicacies served in British pubs over Christmas. Sound good? The host told What’s On TV that “some of it’s horrendous… like the stuff you’d see on I’m A Celebrity.” Jones isn't the only member of The Voice family to make an appearance: co-host Jennifer Hudson will also duet with Murs.

Emma Willis is on karaoke duties

Willis has been crowned Karaoke Queen for the night, and will host special sing-alongs for any guests that choose to step up to the microphone. The stars will have to spin a wheel and see which classic track it lands on.
