Hard Sun viewers very confused over cliffhanger finale

Hard Sun reached its gripping finale (at least for those who have dodged iPlayer) this evening (February 10), with more questions than answers.

After weeks of fighting each other or working together to defeat Grace Morrigan (Nikki Amuka-Bird), DCI Charlie Hicks (Jim Sturgess) and DI Elaine Renko (Agyness Deyn) were ready to finally kill her after leading the police to assume she had disappeared.

However, we were left on a massive cliffhanger as Grace reveals that the mysterious 'Hard Sun' that has left us all scratching our heads is already here.

"Not yet. I thought we had more time. They lied to me, Charlie. They lied. It's already here," she tells the pair as the sun starts to brighten on the horizon.
