Harper Beckham writes beautiful love note to parents David and Victoria: see picture

She is currently having the time of her life in the Maldives with her family. But little Harper Beckham took some time out to tell her parents how much they mean to her by penning them a cute love note. During a day out on the beach, the five-year-old can be seen scribbling the words, "I love mummy and daddy" on the sand with her fingers.

The adorable picture, which was shared on her mother Victoria's Instagram account on Friday, was simple captioned: "Kisses from my baby girl X VB." The sweet post comes one day after the renowned fashion designer, 42, paid tribute to Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds - who died on Wednesday afternoon. She uploaded a cute snap of Harper looking out over the ocean as it rained, and alongside it wrote, "Singing in the rain" – in reference to the late star's hit 1952 musical.

Meanwhile, the Beckham family are currently enjoying the festive period with close friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay. The stars and their children have all been taking to their social media sites to show snippets of their fun holiday.

Former Spice Girls star Victoria has lots of reason to celebrate as she was recently told her family that she will be named on the Queen's New Year's Honours list. The mother-of-four is believed to be expecting an OBE for her fashion empire and body of charity work, following in David's footsteps, almost 13 years after he received his nod from the Queen.

Earlier this year, Victoria opened up about her private family life, telling fans that while her only daughter enjoys spending time with her father and her three older brothers, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, she has also inherited her love of all things fashion and beauty. "She is very, very girly," the designer revealed on This Morning during New York Fashion Week. "She also loves to run around in the garden with her brothers and play football but she is very, very feminine and she loves playing with make-up and my clothes as well." The star added: "She has been able to run in platforms for a few years, right now she can wear heels like most grown-ups cannot!"
