Yep, the iconic music of Harry Potter will feature at this year's Proms as part of a concert celebrating the 85th birthday of film composer John Williams.

Asked if ticket-holders would be allowed to dress up as their favourite wizards and witches, BBC Proms director David Pickard told BBC News: "I will feel very disappointed if they don't."

He added: "The event will allow film fans to hear the music they love played by an orchestra."

Performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, Williams' iconic theme tunes from the likes of Star Wars, Jaws and Indiana Jones will also be played at London's Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, July 20.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, May 13 at 9am – and the concert will also air on BBC Four on Friday, July 21, the day after it takes place.
