Daniel Radcliffe has joined the interactive Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt revival.

The one-off TV event is due to drop on the streaming service in 2020 and will see characters including Jon Hamm's Reverend Doctor Richard Wayne Gary Wayne take part in an interactive special a la Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that that the former Harry Potter star is officially onboard, though the nature of his role hasn't yet been revealed just yet.

The reveal follows the end of the official final season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which saw Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) reach JK Rowling level success with her own book franchise series.

Explaining the surprise ending, series creator Tina Fey previously told THR: "We talked about Kimmy having sort of a J.K. Rowling arc to her life, J.K. Rowling having come from being out of work and [after going through] some difficult things in her life, finding a whole life in this way as an author.

"We thought it might be an interesting place for Kimmy's unique experience, as someone who's been through something so dark but also has a sense of childlike wonder and a desire to make the world a better place, that the kind of story she could come up with would be a huge success."

Radcliffe, of course, played the titular character in the film series of Rowling's books.

Coincidence much?

Speaking to Digital Spy recently, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actress Jane Krakowski said the interactive special will have a different vibe than Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and plenty of gags to boot.
