Redknapp entertained viewers with his stories and anecdotes, most of which were about his partner of 54 years, Sandra.

And the ex-Tottenham manager provided one of the TV moments of the year when he was reunited with her for a brief moment in the jungle.

Redknapp became emotional when he hugged his wife after walking out of the main camp to find her sitting there as a surprise.

The couple, who married in 1977, have two sons – Mark and Sky Sports pundit Jamie, 45.

I’m A Celebrity: Coming Out airs Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.
