Harry Styles has announced plans for a worldwide tour to take place later this year, including dates in London.

The One Direction star will promote his debut solo album at arenas and concert venues in countries including North America, Japan, Germany and the UK.

Kicking off in San Francisco in September, Styles is set to play 13 North American cities including New York, Washington, Chicago and Boston.

He will then begin the European leg of the tour in Paris on October 25, with London dates scheduled at the Eventim Apollo for October 29 and 30.

Styles will then play dates in Manchester and Glasgow before heading to Stockholm, Berlin and Amsterdam.

The 23-year-old pop star performed debut solo single, Sign of the Times, for the first time on Saturday Night Live earlier this month.

He is also set to promote the album release by appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden every night for an entire week from May 15.

Sign of the Times shot straight to the top of the singles charts in the UK when it was released this month, knocking Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You into second place.

Speaking on last week’s Graham Norton Show, Styles said: “I am excited and really proud of it. I have worked so hard on it.”
