From Harry Styles to Kristen Stewart, the power suit is having a moment in everyone's wardrobe this season

The fashion industry has given suits a major overhaul in 2017.

No longer is the tailored item predominantly found in the menswear department, the two-piece has become a key fixture on several womenswear catwalks this season including Calvin Klein, Gucci and Alexander Wang.

Some of our favourite female stars have also championed the trend in recent months, with Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne and Alexa Chung proving that a suit is appropriate for any occasion.

In fact, Kristen Stewart is pretty much a pro when it comes to donning a power suit, firmly making it her style staple and constantly dressing them up or down for red carpet events.

Most recently, she stunned in a floral Antonio Beradi number at the Elle Women In Hollywood Awards. The actress perfectly mixed the androgynous item with a simple lace bra, creating a feminine touch. Who said a suit can't be sexy?

However, it's not just women who are mixing things up in the suit department. Men are ditching their classic black tuxedos in favour of something a little more flamboyant and fashion forward.

Harry Styles is one man who is never afraid to express himself sartorially. The singer is notorious for his quirky suits, which range from bright colours to unmissable Gucci numbers.

For his first solo tour the stylish 23-year-old has in fact partnered with one of his favourite luxury brands, Gucci. And has already been spotted in several of their avant-garde designs on stage.

However, his brightest of boldest look was showcased last night as the music video for his popular track Kiwi dropped. The video shows Harry don an unmissable floral blue suit, coupled with a pussy-bow shirt (and an adorable matching mini-Styles).

It's official: Suits are trendy for both guys and gals.

What are you waiting for? It's time to suit up.
