Any One Direction fan worth their salt knows about the ballad of Harry and Louis' spin-off romance 'Larry Stylinson' – and now real-life Harry Styles has tweeted a link to some hardcore fan-made porn after his Twitter account was seemingly hacked.

Nevertheless the link totted up over 30,000 likes as fans speculated why it was posted.

Some thought it was a hack, as Harry is thought to have been filming for his Saturday Night Live debut at the time, while others suggested it was a publicity stunt for his new single 'Sign Of The Times'.

However the latter seems unlikely given that the link Harry tweeted – and has since deleted – drove fans to a compendium of 'Larry Porn', featuring such fictitious images as 'Louis riding Harry' and 'A very loud bottom' along with much more graphic links such as 'blowjob/facef**k'.

Previously Louis Tomlinson, who has recently learned he won't be charged over the airport confrontations with two fans and a photographer earlier this year, branded the whole fad the "biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard" in an angry Twitter post.

Speaking about the whole Harry and Louis relationship in Fader magazine, former One Directioner Zayn Malik said: "There's no secret relationships going on with any of the band members. It's not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them.

"They won't naturally go put their arm around each other because they're conscious of this thing that's going on, which is not even true. They won't do that natural behaviour.

"But it's just the way the fans are. They're so passionate, and once they get their head around an idea, that's the way it is regardless of anything. If it wasn't for that passionate, like, almost obsession, then we wouldn't have the success that we had."

Meanwhile, you can get more of your Harry Styles fix – albeit clothed – with his Saturday Night Live debut performance on April 15, and again on April 21 when he pops in for a sing-song and a chat on The Graham Norton Show.

He also revealed in another interview that he's in the running to be godfather to Cheryl and Liam Payne's baby.

Another piece of magical fan work saw four of One Direction's debut singles spliced together into an impressive (but messy) track. We guess that'll just have to tie you over until their inevitable reunion.
