Harvest supermoon will impact three star signs' relationships, astrologer warns
Stargazers are eagerly awaiting the sight of tonight's harvest supermoon, an event that could potentially influence our romantic relationships.
The harvest moon is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox, making it a once-a-year occurrence. It is set to appear over Scotland between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning - resulting in a particularly yellow glow that would help ancient farmers work at night.
It's not only good news for astronomy fans, but the latest full moon means big things for romance and other relationships. That's according to one expert, who has explained how the harvest moon impacts different star signs - particularly if you are a Pisces, Virgo or Cancer.

Speaking on the origins of the full moon's name, celebrity astrologer Inbaal Honigman said: "The name has come about because this is the full moon, which allows the farmers to stay and work in the fields later.
"It is the second supermoon out of four consecutive supers. We had one in August, and we'll see supermoons in October and November 2024, which is when the moon is closer to the Earth, and therefore appears larger and brighter."
This spectacular lunar event is significant as it coincides with a lunar eclipse. "A lunar eclipse is when the moon appears darkened as it moves into the earth's shadow," Honigman clarifies.
So, what does this mean for us?
Honigman suggests that tonight's celestial event will reflect the worst parts of our own personalities, as well as those of our nearest and dearest.
"It can represent the hidden aspects of our lives and personalities, and be a time when we are forced to make peace with our least favourite characteristics," the astrologer points out. "At the same time, it uncovers the hidden traits of those around us and can be very sobering."
Pisces
Tonight's extraordinary moon will be in Pisces, the fish star sign, and Honigman predicts that it may inject a dose of romance into our lives. Astrologer Honigman has revealed that we'll all be caught up in a wave of emotion as the moon graces the sign of Pisces.
"Pisces are creative and intuitive, and when the moon is in this sign, it means that all of us become more emotionally attuned to the people and situations around us," he explained.
"As Pisces is a romantic sign, this will make those moments more emotionally poignant." He went on to say: "This full moon is a time of peaks and when relationships reach a summit, such as a proposal."
But there's an air of mystery surrounding which star signs will find their fateful moments under the harvest supermoon's glow, especially with the possibility of love affairs being influenced. For the dreamers born under the Pisces sign, tonight might just lay bare the truth of their romantic connections.
"Since this full moon occurs in Pisces, those born under the sign of the fish will be very affected," Honigman elaborated. "During the lunar eclipse, the intuitive mind comes to the fore, so a Piscean's natural psychic ability will give them a head start in all matters."
This celestial event is also set to bolster Pisceans in their careers, enabling them to anticipate trends - while in matters of the heart, they may discern truth from deceit within their partnerships.
Virgo
As for Virgos, who are aligned with precision and exactitude, the full moon promises a revelation.
Honigman noted: "The full moon in Pisces always happens when the sun is in Virgo. Those born under the sign of the virgin are sticklers for truths and accuracies, and the lunar eclipse is a time of truths coming to light. This magical occurrence is said to equip Virgos with the clarity needed to weed out falsehoods and identify the trustworthy.
Cancer
The supermoon is set to amplify the intuition of those born under Cancer.
"The sign of Cancer is ruled by the moon, therefore lunar eclipses feel more impactful to them," Honigman explained. "Those born under the sign of the crab are sensitive and intuitive, and the full moon enhances these traits."
Cancerians are advised to be wary of new encounters during this period.
"At the same time as the eclipse, the planet Mars is also in the sign of Cancer. As Mars is the planet of passion and battle, this means that Cancerians will be attracting some interesting characters," Honigman added. "But the normally tolerant Cancer will not be suffering fools during this moon phase."
