Hatter House Cafe now open at new Broadmead site
The new Hatter House Cafe has opened in Broadmead, in the former home of Pret a Manger. The second branch of the Bristol business has opened its doors after weeks of anticipation, and is serving up a menu of hot drinks, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and more.
It is located less than a ten-minute walk from its first site on Clare Street, which boasts graffiti by Nick Walker on its walls. Some of the highlights on the menu include the iconic skillet cookie, which is served piping hot with drizzled chocolate and ice cream.
The Hatter House Cafe announced back in November that it would be expanding. In a post to Instagram, it said: "We can’t wait to welcome you to your new favourite spot for delicious treats, great coffee, and good vibes!"

Inside, the new cafe is filled with a fresh blue paint job, warm lighting and wooden furniture, with comfy seating.
The former Pret was one of a number of stores that had windows smashed in a series of incidents within the city centre in September. It eventually closed in the following weeks.
