After The Haunting of Hill House became one of the (many) Netflix breakout hits of last year, the streaming giant has decided to go forward with turning it into the latest anthology horror series.

The second season, titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, is due to air next year, and it's just revealed that another one of the cast members for the original season is going to come back in an entirely new role.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen played Luke Crain last time, and one of Netflix's official Twitter accounts has announced that he will play Peter, described as "a resident of Bly Manor, who makes life very difficult for everyone who lives there".

Nellie Crain actress Victoria Pedretti has already been announced to be returning, and she revealed the news by stating: "I play Dani, a governess who takes care of two very unusual children.

"Our incredible writing team is writing the new season right now and I'm so excited to get going. It will hit Netflix in 2020 and I think you're gonna love it."

Carla Gugino hasn't confirmed her involvement, but she's teased that she'll return for the second outing.

Meanwhile, Oliver Jackson-Cohen was recently cast as the leading man in Universal's (possibly still shared universe) monster movie The Invisible Man. The role was originally attached to Johnny Depp before plans changed.

The Haunting of Hill House is available on Netflix.
